I’m rebooting this weblog, and what better way to revive a blog than with an interesting coding project with only days left on the clock and a fat prize for the winner…?
Lypp, a conference call startup with an eye for Web 2.0 apps is sponsoring a coding mashup contest with 37signals. Lypp’s terms for the contest are pretty simple: They want a mashup app built using a combination of their app’s API and 37signal’s Highrise API. Good thing the apps’ APIs are pretty powerful, too, because I’ve only got 4 days to complete the mashup before it’s due on May 10th.
I’ve spent some time this evening getting acquainted with the APIs, and I’ve got some ideas for an app—I think it can be done by Saturday.
Over the next couple of days, I’ll be posting back here to document my mad dash for mashup greatness. It’ll be fun.
